David Fair

Board Member

David Fair has had a long career in both the public and nonprofit health and human services sector, and as both a provider and funder of services. He is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Turning Points for Children, which provides a continuum of child abuse and neglect prevention services as well as supports for children and youth in foster care.

Previously, Fair served as Senior Vice-President for Community Impact at United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and as a deputy commissioner responsible for establishing the Division of Community-Based Prevention Services of the Philadelphia Department of Human Services, along with school-based mental health services in 110 schools. Fair was also the founding director of the Health Department’s Bureau of HIV Health, and was Vice President of the National Union of Hospital and Health Care Employees, AFL-CIO.

Fair is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
